Preparation for Licensure- NCLEX Comprehensive Predictor Practice B

Now that I have completed the second NCLEX Comprehensive Predictor Practice assessment, I am able to look at my results and make conclusions on what went well and what I could change. I really wanted this to be a good way to test my knowledge but also practice for the NCLEX. I made sure to keep the environment stimulation at little to none. I also got rid of all distractions and made sure to properly plan when to take it. Since the exam had 150 questions, I chose a time that gave me more than enough time to complete the exam so I would not feel rushed. Although some of the stuff was taught a while back or only briefly touched upon, I used the process of elimination to determine the best option. I made sure to read each question slowly and twice.

Something I could work on, that is also something that I have been working on for a while, is being more confident in my original answer. I definitely feel like I have gotten better at this compared to before. I think it helps when exams do not allow me to go back to previous questions. However, with those types of exams, it then prevents me from being able to skip one that I am struggling with and go back. So I feel like there are pros and cons to it. By knowing this is something I struggle with, I make sure to practice and be more confident in my first answer when taking these practice exams to change my mindset. I still continue to go through 10-20 practice questions each day and the rationale for the correct and incorrect answer to help prepare me for the NCLEX.
