Preparation for Licensure- Pharmacology ATI Assessment

When I took the Pharmacology Adaptive ATI exam, I used what I learned from the past one to improve this one. I tried to complete the entire exam in one sitting with only one or two breaks. I set this goal ahead of time and pushed myself to not take a bunch of smaller breaks. This will better prepare me for the NCLEX since although you can take breaks, it is deducted from your overall time.

When reflecting on my SMART goals, I feel that each time I take an adaptive exam, I learn something and it helps me practice for the NCLEX. For example, limiting distractions and setting a goal ahead of time to complete about an hour of questions before taking a break and only giving myself two breaks all together. I plan to continue this for the next assessment since it seemed to work well. Last time, I would get tired from taking so many questions and then end up distracted by something else. By setting a goal this time, it helped me to stay motivated to work till that break. Also, since you are not able to go back and change your answer with these tests, it helps me to not go back and change a lot of my answers. I feel that this is still something I struggle with but definitely feel that I am not doing it as much.
