From Inquiry Through Discovery

So far, the process has been going fairly smooth, with just a few minor obstacles. We did have to go back and revise our PICOT question as we realized it was a little too specific. Now that it has been changed, it seems to work well with the data we have collected so far and our thoughts about how we will formulate our final paper. We submitted more articles than needed which worked out because we were able to get advice on which ones to get rid. There were a couple articles that we did not end up using as they were just too far from the PICOT question and would be hard to appraise and/ or incorporate into our paper. We have worked together each week to analyze the data we collected. As a group, we worked together on each review rather than just assigning each person a different article to work through. This way, we all got an understanding and became familiar with each article, the information we have to work with and ideas on how we might incorporate this information. Also, it allowed us all the opportunity to practice going through each article since they were all a little different. We have been using Zoom to meet up and work through the weekly assignments for our paper which has been really helpful. Also, my team and I all have similar motives and goals so we have been getting the assignments done in advance to allow time for feedback for the professor before submitting. Overall, the group I am working with is doing really well at not only getting the assignments completed but putting in the effort and making the time to sit down and do it way before it is even due.
