Preparation for Licensure- NCLEX Comprehensive Predictor Practice A

After I completed the Comprehensive NCLEX Predictor assessment, I took the time and opportunity to view my results and the rationales as to why the answers are wrong. There were things I did well and things I will change for next assessment. I made sure to take this exam honestly since that will be the most beneficial. By really taking this as I would other nursing exams, I am able to really see how ready I am for the NCLEX exam and what I need to work on. I made sure to take this assessment at a time that I knew I had more than enough time to complete it. However, towards the end, I found myself becoming distracted. I am hoping for the NCLEX, I will not have as many other things on my mind, allowing me to fully focus on the exam.

One thing I tend to do while taking exams is second guessing what I chose. I do not have an issue of taking too long or not enough time on the questions which is good. I make sure to give myself plenty of time to fully read the questions and many times, I find myself having to read them twice to fully comprehend it and understand what they are looking for. In terms of my SMART goal, I will continue to take practice questions as I strongly believe this helps. By taking questions over and over, not only am I familiarizing myself with information of all topics but also practicing test taking skills, how to narrow options down, and to not second guess my answers. I plan to continue doing this all the way up until I take the NCLEX.
